Layflat tubing is made from polythene and is supplied on a roll for an extremely versatile, continual and easy to use form of packaging. Available in two grades, heavy or medium duty, and a variety of widths, Layflat tubing can be cut to any length resulting in custom-made size bags: simply place the goods within the tubing, cut to the desired length and seal using either a heat sealer, staples, tape or ties at one or both ends. Heavy duty grade tubing is more commonly used for the wrapping of larger, heavier items, such as carpets and rugs, but can also be used to protect large, awkward goods from moisture and dirt. Note: the width of the tubing is measured when laid flat.
