What Are Thermal Labels?
Thermal labels are self-adhesive labels printed using heat rather than ink. A thermal printer applies controlled heat to the label surface, which reacts to produce sharp, scannable text, barcodes and images. Direct Thermal Labels
Direct thermal labels use a heat-sensitive coating built into the label material itself. When the printhead applies heat, the coating darkens to create the printed image. Each roll is wound onto a 25.4mm (1”) core, with a perforation between every label for clean, easy tearing.
