How Integrated Labels Work with Magento

Magento generates packing slips as PDF documents, which you print from the admin panel or via an order management extension. An integrated label sheet is laid out so the customer address prints directly onto the peel-off label area, while the order details, item list and any returns information print on the A4 note underneath.

If you use a PDF customisation extension such as Moogento PickPack or XTENTO PDF Customiser, you can fine-tune the print template to match the exact label position on the sheet. For the standard Magento packing slip output, our most popular layouts align without modification.

Including a Returns Label for Your Customers

If you use double integrated labels, the second peel-off label can serve as a pre-addressed returns label. When a customer needs to send an item back, the label is already in the box. No printing at home, no logging into their account for a returns slip, and no delays waiting for one in the post.

For Magento stores where the returns process is handled through RMA extensions, having a physical returns label in the box reduces the number of support tickets your team has to process. It also means the return arrives faster, so the refund or exchange can be completed sooner.

Magento, Adobe Commerce and Third-Party Platforms

They are also compatible with third-party shipping platforms that connect to Magento, including Shiptheory, ShipStation and Royal Mail Click and Drop.
