Why Choose Customised Flexi-Hex® Packaging?

Branded packaging earns its keep at the unboxing stage. The outside of a box gets noticed by neighbours, couriers and anyone passing it through a warehouse, and is often the first thing a customer sees of your brand on the day a product arrives. Putting your logo, design or messaging on the packaging itself extends your brand identity into a moment that customers actually remember, and reinforces the perceived value of what is inside.

Customised packaging also signals investment. A printed Flexi-Hex® sleeve or pinch top box reads as premium and considered, particularly in the drinks, cosmetics and gifting sectors where presentation is part of the product.

Customised Flexi-Hex® Bottle Sleeves

Customised Flexi-Hex® Bottle Sleeves are the standard-size robust honeycomb paper sleeve printed with your brand on one or two sides. Each sleeve is 330mm x 35mm x 20mm flat and expands to grip most wine, spirit and beer bottles up to 320mm in height. Sleeves carry the full eco credentials of the standard range: plastic free, recyclable, biodegradable and compostable.

Print is digital CMYK, which means we are unable to customise in white. Sleeves are supplied in boxes of 100 and the minimum order is two boxes (200 sleeves). A one-off artwork setup charge applies on first orders and free delivery is included.

Customised Single Pinch Top Boxes

Customised Single Pinch Top Boxes are custom printed single-bottle boxes with a crash-lock base that pops into shape without tape. Each box is made from over 85% recycled paper pulp and fits bottles up to 320mm in height, making it suited to wine, gin, whisky, spirits, Champagne and no-and-low-alcohol bottles. Single Pinch Top boxes are approved by the DPD courier network, which means orders shipped in them are eligible for DPD insurance.  For the smaller quantity over print options, it is not possible to print white ink.

Boxes are supplied in packs of 100 and the minimum order is 200 boxes. Sleeves are not included; you can order plain or customised Flexi-Hex® sleeves separately. A one-off artwork setup charge applies and free delivery is included.

Customised Double Pinch Top Boxes

Customised Double Pinch Top Boxes are custom printed two-bottle boxes from the same range. Unlike the Single Pinch Top, the Double Pinch Top requires tape to seal at the base rather than crash-locking into shape. The boxes are made from over 85% recycled paper pulp and fit bottles up to 320mm in height. Double Pinch Top boxes are also approved by the DPD courier network for insurance claims.

Boxes are supplied in packs of 100 and the minimum order is two boxes (200 boxes). Sleeves are sold separately, with 200 sleeves needed for every 100 boxes. For the smaller quantity over print options, it is not possible to print white ink. The same one-off artwork charge and free delivery apply as on the Single Pinch Top range.

How the Customisation Process Works

Each customised order follows the same broad process. Select the product you would like to customise and choose the quantity you require. Upload your artwork as a high-resolution PDF (300dpi minimum), tell us what should be printed where, and we will produce a PDF proof for you to approve before anything goes into production. Once you approve the proof, the order goes into print and ships directly to you.

When we customise Flexi-Hex® products, print is digital CMYK so white ink cannot be reproduced. Designs that rely on white should be redrawn against a printed background colour rather than treating white as ink. The tape uses spot colour print in one, two or three colours, with a 0.5mm clear area at the top and bottom of the tape and a 1mm gap between repeating artwork. Lead times vary by product and run length, so contact us early if you have a specific despatch date in mind.

Customised Packaging FAQs

Q: What artwork do you need from us?

Artwork should be supplied as a high-resolution PDF, 300dpi minimum. We produce a PDF proof from your artwork and send it back for your approval before any product is printed.

Q: Can you print in white?

On the Flexi-Hex® bottle sleeves, Single Pinch Top boxes and Double Pinch Top boxes, no. Print is digital CMYK so white cannot be reproduced. Designs that include white elements should be redrawn against a printed background colour.

Q: What are the minimum order quantities?

On the Flexi-Hex® lines, the minimum order is two boxes (200 sleeves or 200 boxes). Above the minimum, order in multiples of one box.

Q: Is there an artwork charge?

A one-off setup charge of £25 applies to new artwork for customised packaging. Repeat orders using the same artwork avoid the charge. Free delivery is included on all customised orders.
