Our Flexi-Hex® Range

Flexi-Hex® Bottle Kits and Boxes – Post-ready packaging that combines a Flexi-Hex® sleeve with a purpose-built cardboard box. Available for one, two, three or six bottles, with Single, Double and Triple Pinch Top kits, the Single and  Double Fold Top Kit and the 6 Bottle Kit. Boxes can also be ordered separately if you already have sleeves in stock. Customised, branded versions are available.

Flexi-Hex® Bottle Sleeves– The original Flexi-Hex® product. Honeycomb paper sleeves that slide over a bottle and grip securely. The standard size (330mm x 35mm x 20mm) fits most wine, spirit and beer bottles, packed in 100s. Customised printed sleeves are available for branded packaging.

Flexi-Hex® Air Sleeves, Caps and Wraps – A lighter weight tissue paper version of the standard Flexi-Hex® sleeve, available in multiple sizes for smaller items such as cosmetics, jars and candles, plus caps and the 900mm Flexi-Hex® Bottle Wrap for larger or unusually shaped products. Use alongside sleeves and boxes for full coverage.

What Is Flexi-Hex®?

Flexi-Hex® is a patented honeycomb packaging sleeve made from paper. The sleeve is constructed from layers of paper bonded together in a honeycomb pattern that expands when stretched, creating a flexible, cushioned lattice that wraps around the item inside. This honeycomb structure absorbs shock and impact from multiple angles, providing effective protection without rigid inserts or plastic materials.

The design is simple to use. Slide the product into the sleeve and the honeycomb naturally grips and conforms to the shape. There is no tape, heat sealing or specialist equipment required. A complete single bottle kit can be assembled and packed in under 20 seconds, which makes Flexi-Hex® equally practical for high volume packing operations and smaller, slower-paced businesses.

Q: What is Flexi-Hex® made from?

Flexi-Hex® is made from layers of sustainable paper bonded into a honeycomb pattern. Flexi-Hex Air® sleeves are made from lighter tissue paper. All products are paper-based, plastic free, recyclable, biodegradable and compostable.

Q: How long does it take to assemble a Flexi-Hex® bottle kit?

A bottle kit can be assembled and packed in under 20 seconds. The cushioned base section is built into the sleeve box: tear off the base, place it in the box, slide the bottle into its sleeve, drop the whole thing into the box, and peel and seal extra line space below?

Q: Can Flexi-Hex® sleeves be joined together for larger items?

Yes. Sleeves can be joined together using paper tape to create a longer sleeve for larger or unusually shaped items. Paper tape is also available from us.

Q: How well does Flexi-Hex® protect items in transit?

Independent testing carried out by Flexi-Hex® has shown that the honeycomb sleeve provides effective protection against drops, shock, vibration and a range of atmospheric conditions.  The expandable structure absorbs impact from multiple directions. The Pinch Top boxes holding 1, 2 and 3 bottles, and the Fold Top boxes holding 1, 2, 3 and 6 bottles have all passed the ISTA 3A Drop Test.

Q: Can I have Flexi-Hex® printed with my brand?

Yes. Both Flexi-Hex® sleeves and the Pinch Top boxes can be customised with your logo and branding. Get in touch and our team can quote on artwork, minimum order quantities and lead times.

Q: Is Flexi-Hex® easy to store compared to bubble wrap?

Each Flexi-Hex® sleeve packs almost flat and expands up to 35 times its original size when used. This means Flexi-Hex® stock takes up far less warehouse space than the equivalent volume of bubble wrap or polystyrene chips.
