Jo is our Finance Director, having joined Forms Plus in 1996 as a part time payroll assistant. After only a few weeks, the part time role developed into a full time position, as the Company were quick to realise they had found a dependable treasure. Soon after, Jo progressed to Company Accountant through demonstrating a consistent, reliable and efficient approach in all aspects of her work. In 2013 she became a director when herself and Victoria carried out an MBO.
Jo’s meticulous attention to detail and accuracy have been crucial in the growth that Forms Plus has had over the past 6 years. She has a very calm, astute manner and has the ability to validate things in a knowledgeable, rational, practical and impartial view point. This has proved invaluable during periods of such rapid growth.
Jo takes the lead with the company’s pledge in supplying a healthy and active working environment for all the staff. Being a Mental Health First Aider, she is the driving force behind maintaining the office’s Gold Award from the ‘Healthy Workplace’ and is also key in managing the company’s ‘Time to Change Pledge’.
In Jo’s free time she likes to keep fit, at bootcamps, fitness classes and she also enjoys running; having completed her local club’s ‘Zero to Three’ class. When she is not exercising, she can be found spending time near the water, either near or on a boat, or simply pottering in the garden.
