A discernible trend emerging in ecommerce appears to be that periods of downtime away from work encourage shoppers to browse the net for the best deals. Smartphone sales are set to grow by 14% this year and this figure will continue to increase every year – last year smartphone sales were up by 51% on 2015. So what can retailers learn from this?
